This presentation will cover the major changes to Title 24, Part 6, 2019 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code) for nonresidential buildings. The Energy Code has new requirements for HVAC, lighting, building envelope, and water heating that took effect on January 1, 2020. The speaker will review the mandatory, prescriptive, and performance requirements and available resources that apply to newly constructed buildings, additions, and alterations.
