Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) manages, constructs and preserves government buildings and promotes best practices in facilities management.  It does this in an environment where funding is limited and priorities are ever-shifting.  Hear about some of the challenges and successes that the agency has experienced in the past several years in its comprehensive facilities management of Stanislaus County’s 140-building inventory – totaling more than 2.5 million sq. ft. Discussed will be maintenance – routine, preventive and predictive – of HVAC and electrical systems, water and wastewater systems, roofing, security systems, and more.
