This presentation will cover the major changes to Title 24, Part 6, 2022 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code) for nonresidential buildings. The 2022 Energy Code has new requirements for HVAC, lighting, building envelope, and water heating that have taken effect starting on January 1, 2023. This session reviews the mandatory, prescriptive, and performance requirements and available resources that apply to newly constructed buildings, additions, and alterations.
