California’s Title 24 Energy Code includes requirements for acceptance testing for various systems, including lighting controls, for both new non-residential buildings and alteration projects. Acceptance testing is utilized to ensure compliance with the Building Energy Efficiency Standards and other California code requirements. The speaker will examine what acceptance testing involves, who performs it, what documents are produced, how acceptance testing is different than commissioning and how learning the testing procedures could benefit commissioning agents.
